Online games designed by Valiant Games will be designed for playing over the Internet. The first game currently in the works is a Play-By-Net™ game called Galactic Conquests. In Galactic Conquest, one to ten players (and an undisclosed number of computer players), try to rule the Galaxy. Play-By-Net is similar to some Play-By-Email games. However, the main difference is you don't submit moves via email. You use your browser to login, make your moves, and submit you move. Once all players have made their moves (or a set amount of time as passed, e.g. 48 hours), all moves will be processed. Each player will then be notified via email that their move has been completed. The player then uses the browser to login, review what has happened, and proceeds with the next move. Galactic Conquest is a complex game of military strategy, political maneuvering, and economic prowlness. Depending on the stage of the game, moves can take from under 5 minutes to over 30 minutes. The game is intended for ages 15 and up.
